About me
Hello, I am Kat, a photographer and videographer based in South Wales (near Newport and Cardiff). No distance is too far for me to travel, and since moving to Wales I have been lucky enough to just expand on my working area due to lots of lovely recommendations.
My life has always been snapped up from behind the lens. As a child, I spent many hours playing with my pets and capturing their personalities through photographs to treasure forever. I followed this passion up through school, college and my photographic degree course. Images have always inspired me, and ever since graduating, I have had the fortune of pursuing my passion as a career.
Many people ask me why I love photographing children and animals so much when they can be notoriously hard to work with?! But with my naturally fun nature and abundance of patience, I find that I can always relate well and bring out the best in children and pets to capture candid, happy and real moments.
I want to provide you with photographic memories to cherish for years to come. Either on your big wedding day, a walk in the park, or precious family and friends portraits.
The images can be taken in the comfort of your home (I have a portable studio) or any location that is suitable for your needs - it may be a walk in the woods, park or even in a playgroup. I am very friendly and down to earth so I can promise you a fun and relaxed shoot.

I love working with positive, fun-loving couples who want their wedding day to be captured in a relaxed and unobtrusive way. I'm a strong believer that the best shots are often taken without you even realising, that’s why I love to shoot in a candid/reportage style that allows me to blend in to background and snap events as they unfold naturally with little interference, allowing you to just relax and enjoy your day.

Katrina recently filmed our wedding and there is no words to describe how happy me and my Wife are.
From the first moment we met Katrina, she was warm and friendly and up for a laugh.
She made us both relaxed and we hardly knew she was filming us which made for a great video.
When our DVD come through we couldn't stop laughing and currently we have watched it over 9 times.
Her filming and editing was amazing capturing the funny moments along with the serious soppy stuff.
I am deeply saddened that I cannot award Katrina with a 10 star review because she honestly deserves it.
